1st time visiting Philly and my sister decided we would go here (her husband is from Philly). My friend and I ordered the Amish half chicken, wife ordered the duroc pork chop, sister got branzino, brother in law got salmon, friend got duck leg….. Both half chickens were under cooked and flavorless. Wife’s pork chop was well seasoned. My fingerling potatoes were good, but my friend who ordered the same meal, hers were burnt. My sister said her branzino was soggy and served upside down. Other friend said the duck was good. My brother in law, couldn’t tell me how his salmon was because they forgot about his order and they didn’t bring it out until everyone else was done eating. My young niece a...

We ate in the lounge, not the dining room. The amount of wait staff available was not enough. The lounge had most of the seats full and is self seating. When we sat down our table had not been cleared. Wait staff did not arrive until I went up to the bar and prefer our food/drinks.The charcuterie board did not have a lot of interesting options. The only meat was prosciutto, but there were three cheese options. I'd like to see another meat there. The bread that was included didn't really make the most sense. The grilled octopus was good. The international whiskey flight was good, but I would like to see more options for the whiskey flights given all the whiskey options on the menu. The price poi...

We stayed at the Loews Philadelphia for a family wedding. Banks and Bourbon is attached. I cannot lie, when given a choice to have a Philadelphia eating experience, we ventured to Reading Terminal almost daily however on the 4th of July, RT was closed so we headed back to our hotel and Banks Bourbon for breakfast. Oatmeal, Belgian waffle with fruit and omelette for our family were all exceptional as was our waitress Jasmine. You just can't train the kindness, joy, attentiveness and overall wonderful personality that Jasmine shared with us. An unexpected surprise dining experience to end our wonderful trip.

We were in Philadelphia for the ISTE Live 23 Discover Your Next Conference.Bank Bourbon located in Loews Hotel was across the street from our hotel the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. I ordered the Roasted Amish Half Chicken with fingerling Potatoes, Greens, and Salsa Verde $28 and my husband ordered the Duroc Pork Chop with Wilted Greens, Parsnip Purée, Apricot Jam $34 and Parmesan Rosemary Fries $8.Jennifer our server for dinner was very friendly and attentive. The entrees were a-mazing! My husband's porch chop was cooked to perfection and my half chicken and Verde sauce was delicious. Book a table now

We had vouchers for free breakfast due to an issue with our room. Wow! What a treat. The breakfast buffet was not only beautiful but also delicious! It was some of the best fruit I’ve ever had! It was all perfectly ripe. Our server was delightful, friendly , and attentive. It was quite expensive and I’m glad we had vouchers as it was $100 (including tip) for three of us to have breakfast! No alcohol on the bill either! (They don’t open their bar forMimosas until 10am and we were there at 8am.

Proving that because they're in the base of a nice hotel you don't have to work so hard bank and bourbon was incredibly disappointing. When you're entertaining customers and you have to sit for over 20 minutes for your waitress to realize that you'd like a second round it's pretty ridiculous. More importantly this is nothing more than a hotel bar so if you want something good in Philly go to a small business and leave this one to people who are not wanting to leave their hotel.

Went during lunch Philadelphia restaurant week. The experience was Excellent. It allowed us to sample the cuisine. The variety of the menu allowed us to choose what one would like. For instance for entrees there was a fish, meat and chicken. We chose chicken and meat. Both were excellent. Meat was cooked to specification. Had a wonderful experience and will return.
