very well received each time, this small inn is located in the middle of the medieval hay with some tables located on the shaded pavements. The kitchen is very good simple and delicious. the boss is a specialist and a great beer lover and he will be a joy to advise you among a wide choice of this drink. but no concern the tasting is moderate and measured. for a work meal the place is quite suitable, idem for family, friends ...
Very good address to hay. warm welcome. terrace or inside. excellent value for money, freshness, cooking of meat respecting demand, quality wine, daily menu to 14,90 dessert or cheese and wine included. more a superb choice of Belgian beers at a price more than correct and served by a connoisseur boss who can advise you. a warmly recommended.
Stopped in for lunch while exploring Foix. We were originally attracted by the great selection of Belgium beers. Had a delicious simple fromage omelette with potatoes. Nice atmosphere inside with old timber ceilings and wall details. Very accommodating 3rd generation owner. Enjoyed talking with him after the lunch crowd died down.
If you blink you may pass it, or it could tumble down upon you! The ancient half-timber building is listing to the side. though leaning upon a neighbor, so never fear. It is hidden along this narrow street and easily missed. The service was prompt and the food far better than we imagined. It was a happy discovery, indeed. Book a table now
We called in on market day for the plat du jour confit duck, which was OK, but no better. Very oddly, in an area with such great selection of breads the bread was on a par with British plastic bread.
A few times the terrace of this bar looked up to drink, very kind people, authentic building about 500 years old, is across the oldest building. Nice street to slide.
Stopped here because it had a ‘ menu du jour’ . The service was good but the food was very poor in our opinion, Really not worth the money ruined our visit to Foix.
