Poor service. Had a table outside of the outdoor tent, with no heater, and a view of the parking lot. The servers seemed rushed, forgot my cocktail, and when reordered it was a terrible shade of muddy grey. The food was fine but the were servers slow again to check in for another round of beverages. No hot tea or soda drink options for my friend who doesn't drink. We sat with our credit cards on the check for literally 20 minutes until we finally walked it inside to hand it to the server who made no apology for forgetting about us.
Really nice spot. The restaurant is small (reservations highly recommended, and usually necessary to get a table), which only adds to it's charm. The service is excellent and the cocktails are good. The food was amongst the best Italian food that I've had in Seattle. We shared the fried artichokes, fontina fonduta, carbonara, Bolognese, one of the pizzas, and dessert. All of which were very good. This is exactly the type of place that I want as a neighborhood spot.
I want to give a big thank you to the staff at Bar Cantinetta! It was a fantastic, albeit emotional, final night at Bar Cantinetta. I hope that the landlord can renegotiate the rent and that they can reopen again in the future. I will be following the staff to their new Mexican restaurant in Kirkland, Carrillon Point, El Encanto. Even though I won't be able to visit as frequently, I wish them all the best!
Our family group ranged in age from 13-81 and all five of us had an extraordinary experience. From a warm welcome at the door, to the table of our choice, the service was the epitome of hospitality throughout the evening. The food was delicious and they were gracious and thoughtful with food allergies. GF pasta was appreciated. We can’t say enough good things about our magical evening.

We had a lovely outdoor dinner on a summery evening. They've set up the outdoor area quite nicely. It's not directly on the street, so it's pretty quiet. Rather than decide on one entree each, we opted for an array of appetizers, and they were all fantastic. The wait staff were attentive without being suffocating. It was so good to be back at Bar Cantinetta
I am a regular at this restaurant and I always enjoy the excellent food and service. It is a popular spot for neighbors and other regular patrons. I value quality and good service, which is why I keep coming back here.
Great food, serving size was perfect, not too much nor not too little. Service was very attentive but not overly so. Very pleasant experience. I will be back for more great food.
OMG, If you are not sure what to order, put your faith in Chef Donny and Bartender Hugo and you won't be disappointed at all. JUST GO!!!!
