This is an inviting bar/restaurant so we decided to use it a couple of times while staying nearby in the village of Millay. Our first meal was a lunch where we chose their plat du jour which comprised a starter of a plate of chopped tomatoes and tinned corn, nothing special. The main corse was a generous portion of ham/gammon with ratatouille. We tried it for dinner the next night where we ordered steak and chips which arrived suspiciously quickly and was a bit dry. We discovered during the meal we had been parked on a table next to the air conditioning vent which was switching on and off during our meal. It wasn't expensive and the service was OK but altogether it didn't leave us wanting to...
We arrived somewhat late for lunch and without booking but were found a table on a shady terrace on a busy bank holiday Monday. Service was charming and commendably quick. Lots of choices on the blackboard. My entrecote steak was huge, and perfectly cooked "a pointe". My wife ordered a "salade d'ete" thinking it would be a light lunch but it was enormous, with smoked duck breast, a chiffonade of ham, feta, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled aubergines, grilled tomatoes, bacon and more besides! With a coffee, half a litre of house red wine and one chocolate mousse dessert the bill came to a very reasonable 48 euros. Highly recommended.
We have visited this pleasant restaurant on a number of occasions. Usually for lunch but we have also had dinner here on a couple of occasions. The service has always been efficient and consistent. The food isn’t flash but is to a good standard. It’s quite reasonably priced and the portion sizes are more than adequate. The staff are friendly and the place has a relaxed atmosphere. You can eat on the terrace or inside but I recommend booking, particularly when the weather is good. The place gets quite busy at peak times and seems to be frequented by locals and visitors alike.
This is a small bistrot, serving the centre of Luzy, opposite the church. It's friendly, frequented by locals and tourists alike, and offers a pretty good menu, all home-cooked to order. Great puds - and those chips, wow! It sometimes offers live music, too. I'm a regular visitor and can honestly say that I've never been disappointed. Better say too that I don't eat meat, so have to take what's suitable for a veggie, but even the salads vary from day to day so I haven't had a problem.

The day that i was here was a time that i was very hungry. I totally didn't was in a rush, but as i know, French people take their time to eat and drink wine. It's in the middle of the Bourgogne where many farmers come early in the morning for just a quick alcoholic drink, like a French kind of original drink. I had here beefsteak with French fries. These were perfect. The best kitchen in Luzy. Thanks to the owner i had a great food.
It's a bar with atmosphere! You come for a glass as well as for a very correct meal. No high cuisine, but perfect price/quality. You have plenty of choice. The locals come here as tourists, and this says a lot about this establishment. We will definitely come back here!
It is already years that I come here for food when i am in France for visiting Europe. The atmosphere is huge and your always a welcome not lonely person here, try the steaks they make, extremely good.
The only place in town that looked open and seemed busy. It was full of firefighters. Burger was good. Service was quick. Dessert homemade. A good deal for the price.

Nice and cosy in the centre of Luzy. Nice waiter. The creme brullee is lovely and huge. Cappuccino is French style, so no milk, but cream.
We came in for an evening drink and loved the atmosphere. A good selection of drinks available. Didn't eat this time but will be back.
