Barbara's Bagels was an absolutely delightful surprise! After attending a wedding, we were on our way out of town and I had a craving for a lox bagel. My husband (who you can see in the picture) found this gem through a quick Google search. As soon as we walked in, it was clear that this place is a local favorite. The owner or manager was incredibly friendly and greeted regular customers by name. If you want to pay dinner prices a bagel shoppe come here. I ordered a Greek omelette it came without spinach the eggs was practically rotten the coffee was ok . The bagel is pretty good. This is the biggest rip off I've encountered on Roslyn. How could you charge somebody a dinner price for breakfast. This place needs to be shut down .
Quintessential NYC bagel experience (yes, I know it's on Long Island). Local vibe with construction workers milling about, bagels are dreamlike, the lox cream cheese spread was incredible and the service was kind and had us ROFL. Go here.
