I was on the last Sunday with my family at Barbarossa for dinner at 17:00. In addition to the very tasty potato soup, we then ate a large portion of cheese soup. Very nicely dressed and sufficiently large portions. As a dessert, we chose the sky cake and the homemade apple-scattered cake. Quality 1A, you can clearly feel the art of cooks. Even small extras in the form of Lollis were included in our children's portions. Very friendly team behind the restaurant. PS: The beautiful Christmas decoration you can admire in every corner of the house is definitely worth seeing! We'll be back!! Thanks Barbarossa!
After a long hike from Leinsweiler to Wettereck and Slevogtfelsen to Trifels Castle with a visit to the castle, we enjoyed a rest break here. We had chestnut soup or flame cake, with new wine or a glass of open Riesling. To the dessert Capuccino and sky cake. The Riesling was a little disappointing. Everything else was very tasty and at reasonable prices. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the Burgfelsen. The service was attentive. The interior design of the guest room makes a state-of-the-art impression in passing.
We were already the more open at our hiking trails here. The cosy local atmosphere always invites you to return. The service is always very friendly and fast on the go. The Palatinate dishes always offer a delicious cuisine, where you can find dishes that are unfortunately no longer offered in other Palatinate restaurants. (Example: Flääschknepp . We are always very kindly received and also celebrations in the larger frame are made possible by the staff. We thank the host of the house!!
Today I was in the “Barbarossa” with 2 friends. The location of the restaurant is really great with magnificent views to the castle Trifels. We were served immediately without waiting time and decided to make Pfälzer Kost. The food tasted us excellent and the portions were generous. The service was very nice and friendly. We would come back at any time and can recommend the place without reservation. The 5 stars are fully deserved.

Flinke, friendly, attentive girls, a warm hostess who takes time for a Gschwätzle at the table, as well as the rustic ambience are the basis for a successful stay. There are alternating excellent Palatinate specialties, not only slate sack or flame cake. I had a pleasing rug with horseradishes accompanied by a bowl of roast potatoes to kneel down. The heavenly cake met the particular expectations. There'll be a goodbye.
Helga is a super dear and very open-minded hostess!!! We recently celebrated our wedding with her! Everything worked very simple and smoothly! The food tasted us very well and the rooms for our guests were also beautiful. This beautiful wedding was rounded off with a wonderful breakfast from which everyone was very enthusiastic! I'd be celebrating my wedding right now! Very recommended!
After walking on 7.1. to the castle, return to Barbarossa at 12.30. Guest room was not heated and the oven was fired on demand. Service friendly and strives to meet the wishes.
