I came here with my partner. We waited for 20 minutes before we got served which wasn't a great experience since we had to asked to get served (the waiters were supposed to come to our table). We both ordered a main, beverages and some olive and rosemary bread for an entree. I ordered an iced chai (normally made with almond milk) for no almond milk and instead skim milk - that was accepted. I was then brought an iced chai - with almond milk. My partner had the lemon iced tea - hard to taste the lemon when it was awfully sweet. Our bread arrived 30 minutes later - so much for an entree. Then another 15 minutes and our main meals arrived. During our recent stay in Surfer's Paradise, my family visited Baritalia on numerous occasions. Each time we were greeted by wonderfully friendly people who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.We had breakfast here twice and each time it was delicious and served promptly. The dining area was quiet and relaxing and had a nice, fresh atmosphere. We had two young children with us - 3 and 6 - and both loved it and were made to feel very welcome by the staff.I had take away coffee a few times too and it was great and well priced.We will definitely be back next time we're in the area. Highly recommended to everyone!
Dined as a group of 4 the olives and rosemary flat bread for a starter were excellent I chose Spaghetti ai Frutti Di Mare for main and it was delicious but a large serve so I could not try a dessert. The other members of my party had the Rissotto special of which they said it was OK, Salsa Rosa e Gamberi but asked to switch out the sauce for the same as the Frutti Di Mare which was not a problem but they were charged for the Frutti Di Mare which had much more seafood! The last member of the party had a pizza which they did not enjoy it may have been the choice of topping they chose.
The pizza here is as good as it gets, if you like Italian style with thin crust. Much better than anything where we live (San Francisco Bay Area) and reminiscent of the best places in Southern Europe. Huge contrast with the oddly higher rated Costa d'Oro which is a tourist trap that somehow manages accolades and high reviews. We'll be making our third visit tonight, and we're only in town for a week.

The food itself was great. I had the veal scallopini. Recommended by the staff. Great recommendation. However the staff always looked rushed. Not sure if they were understaffed, but it seemed like they had enough staff.It made the experience odd seeing them rush around. It was busy but not full.You also had to get your own water. Odd thing as I don't remember doing that when I was in Italy.
We were looking for somewhere to have brunch having just arrived in Surfers. We were recommended Baritalia by one of the nearby shopkeepers. It certainly proved to have a good range of dishes which would cover most tastes, both for breakfast and lunch. Happy to recommend this establishment.
The food , service and their place are perfect, we really enjoyed our time , and btw we're vegetarian and we didn't find any problems in their food, it tastes so good and it's healthy too .
