Can't technically rate the food as we had to leave before it arrived. Our reservation was for pm and we arrived on time. No one was there to greet us and after waiting minutes at the entry, we approached a worker who handed food to those waiting for to-go orders. We were finally shown to our table. There appeared to be only waitresses for the dining room. After minutes, someone stopped and took our order. We each ordered a glass of wine, an entree and asked for water. She brought us water but not the wine, and she came from the bar! Ten minutes later, she returned to the table and asked my daughter if her order was tofu or chicken. I went to Basilic with my wife and a friend to have dinner before a classical music concert at the McCaw Hill hall While the food is delicious and it is good value for your money, the service was poor. There were only two waiters offering service that day, and they could not properly serve everyone. It took them minutes to bring the food to our table I understand they were overwhelmed by the amount of people that were in the restaurant. However, I think they should foresee these cases and only open the amount of tables they are able to serve I will come back, but on a less-busy time.
Basilic has been my favorite spot before events at McCaw Hall. However, it is very obviously in the midst of an ownership change that left us feeling like we were awkwardly stuck in a disorganized dress rehearsal. They deserve a second chance, which I will give them. However, service issues (especially communicating with customers) will need lots of attention. I hope things shake out soon.
We had been to Basilic previously (it is one of the restaurants we frequent before the opera). Since our last visit ownership has changed. The new owners have chosen not to hold a license to sell spirits. Beer and wine are available but choices are limited. Much as we enjoyed the food and service, we will likely not return until spirits are available and the wine list expands.

We arrived on time for a reservation. At having been served nothing but one appetizer we cancelled the rest of our dinner order, paid for the appetizer, and left. Servers were friendly but service was terrible. We would strongly advise against eating there unless one has unlimited time to wait.
This was our first time at Basilic and chose it due to convenience to Memorial Stadium for our granddaughter's graduation. We had a large party of people and were all extremely pleased with the food and the service.
We were attending an event at the Seattle Center. This was a perfect place for an informal dinner that was presented very well and the food was outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Not great food. Close to Mccaw hall though. There were plenty of open tables. I didn't love the sauces, nor the pad Thai.

I love Basilic. I get the Braised Angus Rib with red curry. It’s a great dish and the curry is fabulous.
The level spice was just right for me but could have been hotter.
