I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for cakes. It's best to look elsewhere. I had to go in person to confirm that a cake available for online order was actually out of stock. I ended up choosing a simple cake for my daughter's birthday, but it didn't even meet my minimal expectations. The decorator confused the pastel colors of purple, blue, and orange, resulting in a strange mix of brown, green, and an alarming shade of orange. The lettering, which was meant to be blue, ended up being black and resembled something a child might create in a craft project. The ice cream cones on top were also a letdown. Despite the cake's disappointing appearance, it did taste good, and my daughter was happy...
I was disappointed with my experience at this coffee shop, which is known for its large coffees. The espresso I ordered was burnt and not enjoyable, especially for $1.99. Additionally, the donuts were stale by 11:30 am. If you’re looking for good coffee, I would suggest checking out the diner next door instead. Since I only tried the espresso, I can’t comment on the quality of their other coffee offerings.
At Baskin-Robbins, I was given two large scoop cones for my kids without being asked about the size, and the cost was simply deducted from my gift card. This felt inconsiderate. Each cone contains 340 calories—no surprise that people have trouble managing their weight. The Baskin-Robbins menu definitely offers indulgent choices to be mindful of.
The coffee isn’t great, but the service is good, and the milkshakes are absolutely amazing. While the staff might have some trouble with the finer details of European English, their effort and enthusiasm more than make up for it.
