During my recent trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, I tried poke from various places, ranging from small local joints to upscale spots at the Hilton luau. I can honestly say that the poke at Bay Poke Tea House made my heart sing. It was genuinely authentic Hawaiian poke—the freshness, the spices, and the vibrant flavors were perfectly balanced. Without a doubt, this is the best poke you can find outside of Hawaii. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you, Bay Poke, for delivering a true taste of authentic Hawaiian cuisine!
I just got off the plane from Hawaii and sad to say, I was disappointed with all the poke restaurants on the islands. Feeling unsatisfied with the quality of poke in Hawaii, I came back to the mainland and went to Bay Poke and got exactly what I had beenlonging for. Bay Poke was fresh, delicious and the serving size was generous. Shout out to Allen, May and Isabelle. They wereall so friendly and served me up what I had been missing on the island. Bay Poke is way better than the poke in Hawaii!!!!!

When I say that this poke made my heart sing, I mean it. It was absolutely authentic to Hawai 'ian poke the freshness, the spice, the flavor. Hands down, this poke is absolutely the best poke you can get outside of Hawaii. I alreadycan 't wait to eat here again. Thank you, Bay Poke, for saving me from authentic Hawai 'ian poke withdrawals.
Theres not a lot of healthy options in LP but Bay Poke LP is definately a great choice for something fresh and easy. Great choices in the protein dept. and every thing is made to your liking. I like it spicy so being able to customize my bowl in a certain way is always a big plus with good options to satisfy your certain tastebuds. It's not exactly the cheapest option out there but Bay Poke will not break the bank either plus for the healthy contious eater you'll

I just landed from Hawaii and, unfortunately, I was let down by all the poke spots there. Unsatisfied with the poke quality on the islands, I returned to the mainland and visited Bay Poke. There, I finally got the fresh, delicious poke I had been craving, with generous portions to boot. Big thanks to Allen, May, and Isabelle for their friendly service and for serving me exactly what I missed while on the island. Bay Poke truly stands out!
There’s plenty of parking and the place is clean, with a fast-moving line. My rating is based on the food, which is basically sushi served in a bowl. The sauces are hard to taste, making it difficult to enjoy your meal. It’s nothing special—just sushi in a bowl at twice the price.
We were very happy with the portion sizes. The fish and side dishes were fresh, and there was a great variety of options available. We would definitely come back to eat here again.
