Absolutely terrible food and service.
I went there for a friend's birthday with a group of 20-25 other people. We had called in advance to make a booking, and yet the restaurant was understaffed (only 2 poor waitresses who were frantically running around trying to serve our group + other customers). We waited for 1.5 hours for our food to come out.
I ordered the "Seekh Kebab Platter" (which is a part of their BBQ Grill Platter menu) as a main and in the menu it clearly states that the "platter" comes with your choice rice or naan, salad and sauce. Worst service ever. Last night, We bring in our own drinks as we saw next table person having Hungry Jack's drink. No service person came to tell us about their rules or to finish our personal food outside. Afterwards, we noticed the bill, they charged us for our own drink. We call them immediately. They talk in a very arrogant tone giving us feel of doing a crime. They tell us how all the Australian restaurants have the same rule. We feel humiliated, disgusted & cheated. Inconsistent food, never come back again. The first time we were there for take away we love the food, nice chicken kebab meal with mint and yogurt sause, salad (onion, tomato and lettuce)and rice. Second time we ordered take away, no sauses for us. Went there the third time, take away, no sauses again, and salad was no longer packed separately but with the chicken, and what salad have are couple pieces of tomato and 4 pieces of lemon, i didn't know lemon can be a main ingredients to a salad! We really loved this place and we're regulars. Unfortunately there is one word to describe the food consistently inconsistent.
Every time we order our favourite dishes like nihari or Haleem or even simple thing like halwa puri breakfast the taste is different.
Some days it's delicious beyond belief that we get these authentic tastes in Brisbane. Same thing next time big disappointment.
Also the owners keep striking things off menu.
So sadly now days we avoid going to BBQ Tonight unless we are particularly in a gambling mood.
been there last night and loved the food as it was so tasty and well presented. we ordered chicken Kadai and it was in real authentic taste and the atmosphere there was also great as we were served by friendly staff. just looking forward to visit there again any other night to try out there rest of the amazing dishes.
Did the takeaway today. And food was good delicious and authentic. Specially chicken boti and chicken karahi. Love the taste. One of the good food I have. Definitely recommend the restaurant.
