I usually enjoy hanging out at coffee shops, but my recent experiences at Beans have been disappointing. While it's good to see a busy shop—an indicator that they must be doing something right—the inefficiency I've encountered lately is hard to overlook. My most recent visit was particularly frustrating. Despite there being 4-5 girls behind the counter, only one person was actively helping customers. The dining room was closed in preparation for a party, which should have freed up staff to assist with the customer flow. Instead, I witnessed two girls engaged in a casual conversation, one girl washing dishes, and only one girl actually serving customers. This lack of coordination is problemat...
The food here is amazing, and the service is fantastic! The staff are doing a wonderful job. My only issue is the limited seating—there always seems to be someone occupying a table for too long, just nursing a coffee while working on a laptop or reading a book. This has forced me to get my food to go more than once. Other than that, the coffee is perfect, and the waffles are the best I've ever tasted. The service truly is excellent.
I asked for a waffle with ice cream, fruits, and Nutella. I got charged for every little thing and it came out to a total of $22… for a waffle and some fruit. So overpriced and they didn’t even add the Nutella … I had to take it to go because there was no seating and it would be one person at a table with four chairs.

Absolutely LOVE IT HERE! Everything is amazing and the staff are wonderful! It's cozy and super welcoming. Much larger inside than you expect from the outside. My daughter loves their breakfast so much and we live in New Dorp, so we Uber A LOT! Definitely a must!
I visited after my graduation and was thoroughly impressed. I tried the strawberry cream cheese French toast, and I must say it was the best I've ever had. The coffee was strong as well. I would definitely come back for more!
This place serves the best coffee and blueberry scones, without a doubt! Parking is available on the side streets, which is a great option. Just be prepared for a 2-5 minute walk. It's definitely worth it, trust me!
Their leaves are lipton, for hot tea. Very strange and a strong contrast from the quality of their food, when the kitchen is open
