In Beecroft we have a number of coffee shops/restaurants where the coffee is great and the food even better. But there is one whose doors I shall never darken again until they change their policy of No Split Bills.When invited there, I will often insist on paying for what I have eaten. It is an appalling sight to see a number of customers digging around in their wallets trying to get the bill together. This is galling when the cash register is the latest and this could easily be done. But no more shall I go there because someone thought the following addition to the No Split Bill sign was somehow appropriate. 'We have a calculator you can borrow.' How rude. This is one of those lovely surprises. The owners are wonderfully friendly and make everyone feel special. So too the chef and the other members of this " hive of delight"Eat inside or outside undercover and enjoy the delights of Beecroft's natural environment.Parking is adjacent...BUT....you need to be early or....very patient as space is at a premium. Great food, great coffee and warm yet unobtrusive service........I love Bee Hive....
We had a lovely Saturday lunch.2 of us had the Corn fritters with gucamole and the other had crab croquettes.All was scrumptious.Coffee was good and staff very pleasant.One of our party was late and they did not rush us.We had no problem dividing the bill between us and one paying by credit card and keeping the cash.Throughly recommend
This is my local cafe of choice to meet up with friends or to take the fam for breakfast. We've done Mothers Day breakfast here, birthday lunches and just coffee and cake. The staff are friendly, coffee is good, the carrot cake is the best....I could go on and on. The only downside is that it doesn't have view.

Good friendly service, food average, good coffee. Corn fritters too pancakey, crab and prawn croquettes too potatoey with no prawn or crab flavour, haloumi on toast ok. No split bills and parking in Beecroft is always difficult.
This little cafe was full of happy friendly people, many of whom were obviously regulars. Menu was interesting and varied enough to please all tastes, staff were attentive, and food was well cooked and delicious.
A group of six of us came for lunch last month.We all had various dishes and all were lovely.The menu is quite varied and staff were very helpful.Coffee finished off the meal and was very pleasant.
Food was usual good standard, staff pleasant and service was good. I am sure there is a reason for it but the (new to me) menu lacked the variety of options I enjoyed on the previous menu.

Popped in for lunch today. Very quick service. Nice coffee ..... We had the omelette and corn fritters (with bacon). Both were lovely, nicely presented and reasonably priced.
