I've always enjoyed Beggars. On Christmas Eve, I had some free time and decided to stop by for a deep dish pizza. I spent most of my visit chatting with the bartender, and as always, the pizza was outstanding. I opted for the sausage and garlic deep dish.
The crispy chicken sandwich was a little too crispy... actually it was hard!!! Maybe I should have ordered the grilled chicken sandwich? Oh, the pizza was good. Had a few slices of the spinach and cheese.
I would give it 3 or 4 stars. The taco pizza wasn't great; it had too much sour cream and lettuce. The meat was unusual—not bad, just different. However, the deep dish cheese was a definite winner!
This is one of my favorite pizza restaurants. I've ordered takeout multiple times, and I've always been pleased with both the food and the service. I highly recommend this place! Book a table now
They have a lovely party room suitable for any occasion. The service was outstanding; they made sure we received excellent attention throughout our visit!
Perfection! The pizza was fresh, hot, and loaded—simply perfect. Wow! The delivery guy was very friendly, and I wanted to acknowledge him as well.
I can't believe they're charging nearly $5.00 for a 2-liter soda. Aside from that, everything else was pretty decent.
