I do not understand the quality of the individuals working at this establishment. When I called to place an order, the person who identified himself as the owner was rude, difficult to understand, and answered calls in a disrespectful manner. He put me on hold briefly while switching me to another call. I initially requested delivery since I had ordered from this place before and assumed they had my information on file. After 15 minutes, I called back to inquire about my order, only to be told to pick it up instead. I reminded the owner that I had requested delivery, and he reacted childishly and incoherently. I would give zero stars if possible. The man who answered the phone was rude and dishonest. I placed an order after viewing the menu on their website. When I called in my order, the man rushed me and gave me a total of $19.00 for three items, which seemed off for a lunch menu order. After checking the website, I realized the correct total should have been $15. Despite trying to call back, I only got through when using a different number on their website. The man rudely confirmed my order but then yelled at me when I questioned the total. He eventually agreed to cancel the order and hung up. I doubt I will receive a refund for the canceled order. After 33 years in business, this restaurant has unfortunately closed permanently. The phone line has been disconnected. This was my favorite place to eat! I have been coming here since it opened in 1988. The menu was extensive and the quality was always consistent. The prices were reasonable. The interior decoration was always stunning! The fact that there was only one change in ownership in 26 years and they were still thriving and updating before closing says a lot.
