Benihana - Table reservation

Our server, Elaine, was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The chef, Julinan, was also personable and clearly enjoyed his job (the delicious meal he prepared proved it)! We are regular customers at Benihana and typically order the filet mignon, scallop, salmon, and chicken entrees. The miso soup and salad starters, stir-fry shrimp and vegetables, rice, and main course make for a healthy and satisfying meal. You can request less butter and salt if desired. I have visited Benihana several times, but this was the most exceptional experience we have had. Ann was our server and she was exceptional. Louie was our chef for the meal and everything was cooked perfectly. Next time we come back, we will definitely request Ann and Louie again.

The fried rice was very pale and lacked the extra chicken I paid for. The sauces that typically accompany the dishes were missing. The dumplings were frozen in the center. However, the sushi was the standout dish.

Gary was the best chef I have ever encountered at this restaurant! The food was of amazing quality, and not to mention, he put on a fun volcano show for my birthday! Gary definitely surpassed my expectations.
