I'm all sad and twisted up that Queensland are getting towelled by the Blues, so I thought I'd reminisce about happier times. Ben's Burgers is simple and effective. Not much choice on the menu but there doesn't need to be when it tastes this good. The highlight for me was the strawberry jam milkshake that tasted like a liquefied Macca's sundae. This is a good thing. The Wife thought her vege burger was a bit soggy, but it sounded like a personal problem to me. Also, the chilli fries aren't just hot – there's meat involved. Also a fail for my lady, but just meant more food for big poppa. Result.
