I absolutely adore this place! It's cozy with a warm and inviting atmosphere, and I hadn't been there in quite some time. The staff is incredibly friendly, but the real highlight is the fantastic food. I wholeheartedly recommend everything on the menu. If I had one minor complaint, it's that the sandwiches are a bit on the small side (made with regular slices of bread), so you might need to order two if you're really hungry. Other than that, it's truly wonderful!
This is my second time. People are so sweet. They must have their tomato soup, it is absolutely delicious! Sometimes it seems they're not busy in the store. But when I sat there, I noticed the crowd of people who came and took some food to go. Don't be discouraged if nobody else is. The food is really good. They even gave a sample of the tomato soup to test before we bought. We bought more home and later. They added bread to our to-go bag.
Got 3 large sandwiches and a salt and vinegar chips. Turkey avocado, the roast beef w cream cheese and olives, and the Italian cold cut. The first and last were the best. They were more than enough for 3 people. They came with pickles. The worker was friendly and explained what was popular bc it was my first time visiting. My brother said smaller sandwiches there with toasted sliced bread and melted cheese were great options.

My sister took me to this place yesterday, and I had a fantastic experience! The sandwiches were delicious, and the service was incredibly friendly and efficient. It's a charming little spot that I absolutely loved! The cook was impressive too; he managed to remember all our orders without writing anything down and got everything correct! I was really impressed.
After a day at Descanso Gardens, we Google a place to eat. Google did not disappoint and neither did Berge's Sandwich Shop. My family and I enjoyed our sandwiches, BLTA, White Tuna, Turkey and Avocado and a Corned beef. Also enjoyed the Potato salad and tomatoe bisque were flavorful. The people at the counter were friendly and welcoming.
A good sandwich, but slightly pricy. I had the submarine, which was a good and satisfying meal, for $7.99 (just the sandwich, nothing else). A pleasant atmosphere, and friendly staff are a bonus.
Love the food and service. Prices are great. Tomatoe basil garlic soup is amazing. Pastrami sandwich is delicious.
