I recently visited your restaurant for a quick meal with a friend after work one night. We had some difficulty navigating the menu, as it used a lot of Italian! However, after spending quite a bit of time trying to work out what each item was, I ordered the Ravioli Di Zucca as it seemed like the only vegetarian option in the pasta menu (I am a vegetarian) and I was craving pasta. However, the description for the sauce, which was just described as a "creamy gorgonzola sauce" did not give any indication that it contained white wine in it, and I cannot consume any alcohol either. No response to emails and when we phoned the promised call back for booking was not forthcoming. Finally after several attempts a booking was secured. I wanted to remain positive however that our dining experience would edeem this establishment.

Bicicletta offers a wide range of meal options. The antipasto presents diners with vegetarian, seafood and meat selections and staff are knowledgeable and happy to inform on different components that comprise the dishes. Pasta portions are sufficient for a main meal and most are made in house offering an authenticity that many other Italian restaurants lack. My favourite of the pasta dishes, the Ravioli Di Zucca, has a delightful creamy consistency whilst not being too rich (Vegetarian). The Dear Luncher marauds his way around the country sometimes and he's currently visiting the nation's capital. As The Dear Luncher has a bit of a lazy streak, opting to dine at places near the accommodation is preferred. Bicicletta was one such option and it did not disappoint. Popular eatery in amongst several hotels, The Dear Luncher was treated to a swift dinner that involved pizza and red wine. Well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity. A truly authentic Italian experience.

It's nice to feel like your eating home cooked meal away from home which is exactly the experience I had this evening on a one night work trip. Linguine ai frutti di mare had the freshest seafood the right amount of chilli and the perfect amount of sugo that gets left on the side of your mouth when you suck up the pasta. Very impressed ????
Brought the whole family along for dinner and was told 'no worries' re baby, we have baby seats which they do, heaps of them but no where to change a baby. When I asked if there was a change table was told to use the bench in the mens toilet!! Thanks for that. Had to ask for our drinks 3 times but food was ok - very mediocre experience.
Had a breakfast coupon from a nearby hotel (not the best hotel), so was delighted to enter into a Cafe with plenty of character and charm to boot. The continental offering was excellent and the staff where attentive. Home made bread was a hit with me.Well done!

Yum! Lovely (hidden) Italian restaurant in Canberra. We visited her for a weekend and was recommended this place. The pizzas were oven toasted and delicious, the gnocci were light and fluffy and full of flavour.
