The whole place including the manager are all very unprofessional. The fact that I ordered from this place on a day to day basis its absurd. I ordered food and they stated that they called me to let me know the food was delivered. When and where? Because if they had called me than I wouldnt be calling them to find out when is my food being delivered. I told them I didn't want the food and they can send someone to pick it up and they can refund my money. My cousin went in there personally to tell them why they did not pick up the food yet. Big Al's Italiano is very close to our home. We order from there at least a couple times a month. Have to say the delivery hasn't always been the best. Twice our order has left somewhere other than where we requested. We will go pick it up from now on.I'm leaving my review this evening to let the staff know how must we enjoyed our meals. 5/15/23 5pm, the skin on the chicken wings was not mushy and rubbery. The food here is good, and the prices are reasonable. It seems they have their own delivery drivers, at least for Grubhub, which led to a less-than-ideal experience for me. I believe the main issue was on Grubhub's side, as they didn’t seem to be in sync with the restaurant. That's why I'm still giving Big Al’s a solid 4 stars. I've ordered from them before and they've always been friendly, so I'm not going to fault them for my Grubhub troubles, haha. My advice would be to place your order directly with the restaurant rather than going through a third-party service.
I'm giving this place 2 stars. I've been ordering from here for years, and ever since the previous owner, Matt, left, it's been downhill. The counter staff often have trouble understanding my order, and the delivery times have been poor, despite the fact that I live just 3 minutes away. I understand that they might get busy, but a little more care from the staff would make a huge difference. I've had other issues with this place as well, but I'll leave it at that. After at least 5 years of consistent ordering, I will be looking for a new pizza spot.

Great pizza! This was my first time trying Big Al's, and I was really impressed with their pizza. I ordered a large meat lovers, and it was packed with tasty meats—no skimping at all! Although I don't live particularly close to the restaurant, the delivery was really quick. I'll definitely be ordering from them again. I would have given a 5-star rating, but since I’ve only tried the pizza and they have such a large menu, I plan to sample more of their offerings in the future.
First time here and we ordered the calzone with spinach. I am going to try the gluten free pizza next time we stop in the store. The woman at the counter was very friendly and the place was clean. The only item missing from the Calzone was the ricotta cheese which is usually inside along with the mozzarella. I guess I will have to ask next time since they are so similar to the stromboli.
Wow!!! Hands down the best pizza in the northeast. Reminds me of Sam's in Wildwood but better! Sweet sauce nice crust… fantastic!Fast service and friendly staff! I will be back for sure… keep up the great work!
This pizza is so good. Definitely worth the money. It was less than $4 for the slice that's bigger then my hand maybe even my face and a can of soda ?They even have space to sit and eat!Food: 5/5
