This place has been on my list to try especially being a huge fan of bbq. I ordered the chicken and ribs dinner with potato salad and baked beans. I also ordered a slice of lemon pound cake. The price for the meal was surprising at $12... usually the meals run close to $20. The meats were cold/ room temperature but was well seasoned and cooked well. The baked beans were perfectly flavoured with cinnamon and sugar. The potato salad has the right amount of mayonnaise and seasoning . The bbq sauce was sweet. The lemon pound cake was $2 and was tangy, sweet and moist .
The food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the chicken dinner along with a half chicken, and the sauce had just the right amount of kick—not too spicy, but perfect for barbecue lovers. I’m giving four stars for the atmosphere because I noticed some caterpillars crawling around, which was a bit off-putting. The service also gets four stars; although the staff saw me waiting to order, I wasn't greeted, which made me consider leaving. A simple greeting can really help make a newcomer feel welcome. I'm glad I decided to stay, though, as the food was truly excellent.
The ribs are fantastic! My only complaint is that they're only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Adding one or two more days would be great. Whenever I'm in town, I make sure to stop by for some of Big E's ribs, along with baked beans, potato salad, and his delicious pies. I highly recommend this food truck. Just a heads-up: be ready to wait a bit since it's always busy. I really love this place!
I wish I knew when they are actually open. I look on the website and says closes at 8 I get there at 4 and they are closed. Not to mention I drive from Ruskin to Seffner just to purchase the BBQ. VERY DISAPPOINTED, but when I do manage to get food from there it is delicious!

Hands down he has it. Amazing bbq great prices. Lip smacking finger linking good. I have followed him since the other spot. The only place I go for bbq. Top it off Big E is super friendly and customer centered.
It was my husband and my first time dining there. The food was excellent, and we’re looking forward to visiting again soon!
