I will NEVER return to this place. My friend and I visited the bar because they knew the band that was performing. I had just moved back to New York and was still using my Arizona driver's license. When I ordered a drink, the bartender inspected my ID and claimed it was fake, saying, “You’re lucky I don’t take this from you.” I was taken aback and replied, “Excuse me??!” She was convinced it was a fake, and I suggested she take it and call the police to verify its authenticity. Instead, she asked me what address was on my ID and gave me barely a moment to respond. It was worth the wait. It is such a fun atmosphere. There is décor/memorabilia all over the restaurant. The servers are in fun outfits, too. There is never a dull moment between that and the live music. The menus are news papers and I got a real kick out of the whole vibe. The food was amazing, too! We got a prickly pear margarita that was to die for. We enjoyed out lunch and would recommend!
I visited after being away from Staten Island for five years, and the owners kindly opened their doors for me on a day they were normally closed. They were truly wonderful. During my time living in Staten Island, this was my go-to spot for parties and gatherings. The beer was ice cold, and I just love this place. Thank you once again!
