I’m glad I went to Big Water for lunch. As soon as you walk through the door you know this is a seafood place, from the netting on the ceiling to the décor on the walls to the smell of fresh seafood. Mainly a seafood market, they also offer a lunch menu. They have three picnic tables inside where you can sit and enjoy your food, and you can even grab a marker and leave your mark on the tabletop. I stopped in for lunch. While the menu is limited it has good choices. For me it was the Crab Cake Sandwich with a side of their homemade potato salad. The sandwich was excellent, the crab cake so moist it was a bit of a challenge to eat as a sandwich. It was definitely worth the attempt. Put togethe...

The freshest fish cooked and served by the friendly folks on the island. Let me first say that this is not a seafood restaurant with a seafood shop. This is a seafood shop; everything is what you can eat. So if you are looking to impress your date, friends or colleagues by matching them to a seafood place rich in ambience and a price tag, Big Water Fish is not the place. But if you are absolutely the freshest fish on the island (pick what you want from the counter we choose pompano), cooked exactly the way you like it, served by a friendly, low key guy in Bermuda shorts and apron that serves as both fish beer, cook and waiter, then you are in the right place. Imagine sitting at picnic tables...

First visit, the fried group sandwich really had the best. Fresh, flocculent... not gummy or fishy at all, which groupers can sometimes be. Small immersion, informal, good portions, with fast service and attentive staff. Not cheap, in-line with other local restaurants with fewer offers. Other fresh fish that are exhibited in the cases will certainly try in future visits.

The freshest seafood around!! It's a performing market with just a few spots to dive in. It's casual, just so good. The menu is varied to please every seafood lover.
