Dined here for the first time for Brunch. Table service was prompt, seats comfortable, ambience good. Water filled without having to ask. The order was taken by memory which was impressive, however one beverage failed to turn up. We sampled the huevos rancheros, the breakfast special -sardines, the eggs bender, and the brioche french toast. All dishes were consistently delicious and the presentation was what we expected from reading off the menu.I can't remember the price but it was a worthwhile breakfast experience.
Great food and decor! Billykart is an awesome little restaurant in South Brisbane with a menu to match. We had the crab toast and spinach & ricotta dumplings for entree which were both divine. The crab toast was refreshing and had very well rounded flavours, and the dumplings were packed full of flavour thanks to both the filling and the excellent burnt butter sauce. For main we had the lamb and porchetta which were both seasoned and presented to perfection. Highly recommended!

We only went to the wine bar so can't comment on the food. Chick serving us was hilarious and apparently is regularly working there. She's very knowledgeable and had good suggestions from the menu. They also let you taste first before you buy which is great. Large range of wines and we had quite a few really nice ones. Was really cold and it rained so would have been nicer if the venue was a little more protected/cosier? Can see how the open aspect would be nice in summer though.
The food was what we expected from Benders restaurant, tasty and pleasing to the eye I had the duck parfait nice and smooth then the breast of lamb with cauliflower and carrots... faultlessWe sheared a dessert a chocolate meringue a bit rich after the mains The bar lady/sommelier was informed and helpful The young waiter was enthusiastic but needed a bit of training. An awesome evening Good service from our French waiter , pork belly divine , crab spaghetti excellent finished with a shared chic brownie Not a large menu but choice enough and food was very good Highly recommended Not too noisy and seats comfortable

Very nice food. Nice selection. Modern Australian cuisine, licensed. Service was a bit slow, took some time to place order initially for drinks however was great service afterwards. Highly recommend stuffed zucchini flowers as entree.
The café/restaurant is very nice and roomy. I felt the food is a little overpriced however in saying that my breakfast was tasty.
