I think the saving grace from the whole dining experience was that the manager in charge was quite nice, everything else was to be honest quite mediocre 1. Service was quite slow, took 1/2hr for the food to arrive and it wasnt super busy. I also witnessed that people were fed up waiting to place the order and walked away from their table 2. The waitress didnt seem to know what she was doing, asked her to check the whereabouts of the order, and nothing ended up happening luckily the manager stepped in 3. The chips was overly salty, and the same can be said with majority of the dishes Overall, quite a disappointing experience

I have visited this restaurant a few times before, but today's experience was particularly disappointing, mostly due to the service. No server came to take our order, and it took a long time for our food to arrive. Furthermore, our meals arrived 10 minutes apart, making it difficult for us to enjoy our meal together. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the staff, they did not seem to apologize sincerely. This experience is different from my past visits, and it is unlikely that I will return in the future.
It is a gorgeous place and the High Tea looked amazing. However I had the vegetarian big breakfast and it was very ordinary to look at and about 50% over-priced compared to similar breakfasts in Inner West cafés. I'd come back for the high tea for a special occasion, but would definitely not pay $27 for the normal breakfast again. I was expecting it to be huge and fancy for that price, but it certainly wasn't either.
The restaurant is charming and stylish. The decor complements the theme and enhances the overall experience. It is very photogenic. However, the food was disappointing. We ordered the high tea for two and only received one of each sweet item, which had to be divided between us. Additionally, they overcharged me. Book a table now
The hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict served in a cast iron skillet seemed a bit excessive for $14. The portion size of the mini sandwich was small, which was disappointing. However, the French toast was tasty.
This place over promised and under delivered. Service was slow, clearly understaffed. Slugged with a sunday surcharge when paying the bill which had not been written or advised anywhere not sure if that's even legal
small space to the breakfast. the menu was quite extensive and the service was professional. some of the drinks are overpriced and the portion sizes are smaller than expected
We ordered drinks and were told that no juice or no cocktails available. Just tea or water. We ordered chicken salad but was told no chicken. Book a table now
chorizo patter as good as oma house made style, but it is delicious.
Good coffee and food but service could be more efficient.
