What made this past showcase truly special were the added touches they provided to attendees. A group of us were headed to St. Pete for a night out along Beach Drive last fall and decided we would stay for the night. We do like to have a few martini's so we figured we would play it safe and settled in on The Birchwood. Check in was easy for all of us. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were large. I was delightfully surprised. The bathroom and shower were large. The hotel was quiet. Another plus. The entire atmosphere is sophisticated and upscale. Wonderful place down on Beach Drive. We sat outside. I will tell you that the Birchwood adds an automatic 20% to your bill. However, they are very up front about it and provide you with some detail on why they do it. I know some people hate that, but our servers earned it. Jazz was our server and she was wonderful. She was friendly and attentive. We also interacted with two or three other servers and all of them were right on point. Now the food. It was very good. We had the meat loaf and brick chicken. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I ended up adding an additional tip when I settled the bill. Would definitely come back.
Had an okay experience here for a friends bachelor party with a group of 12. They put us in a private room with only one server so it was definitely a struggle. Timing was off for everything and took very long to put in orders, get appetizers, cocktails, and entrees. The restaurant should’ve done a lot better knowing we were 12. Also, they undercooked a lot of the steaks. I enjoyed the ribs appetizer, salmon, ribeye, and small potatoes. All in all, our experience was underwhelming and overpriced for the quality of food service that we received.

My favorite restaurant for girls night on rooftop, the drinks small plates are amazing! Must try the truffle fries and fried pickles. Also love the fine dining option of booking private family rooms, the window view of the strip is beautiful one of my favorite spots for hosting large groups! Food is amazing, drinks great, views incredible 10/10 for girls night, date night, family night, this is my go to spot in St Pete
We came for brunch/lunch and all I ordered was the strawberry salad, which really hit the spot. I was looking for a light meal with great taste and this salad did not disappoint. So fresh and delicious! I would totally come back! The service was good too. The salad didn't need a protein added to it by the way.
The food is good, sure. But the thing that makes this place a 5 star for me is the people. The staff is what makes this place remarkable. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and truly they went above and beyond with the recommendations and service. Parking is available on the strip.
Perhaps the worst meal of my life. The bread was stale, the shrimp cocktail was served room temp, and that was the worst beef carpaccio EVER. The service was also really slow and sloppy.
