Since it was getting close to dinner time, we decided to share some appetizers, keeping in mind that we older folks can't eat like we used to! When our main meals finally arrived, they were also subpar. My salad was completely wilted, the greens looked as if they had been cooked, and the plate was hot. When I mentioned this to the server, he insisted that it was supposed to be served that way, making it inedible. The rest of the food was cold, and we didn’t want to wait any longer for them to fix it.
I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt compelled to share. Meanwhile, friends who hadn't even made a reservation finished their meal at another restaurant before we were even served.
We went for restaurant week and arrived at 6:00. We ordered some drinks and the tasting menu. At 7:10 I asked to see a manager because we had only received one course (soup) in the hour. Manager was very nice and did not charge us as we had to leave for a 7:30 event. The soup was good, but food was too slow, especially with lots of empty tables in the restaurant. I give great credit to the manager, but we were just out of time.

We ate at this restaurant for two nights! Kari our waitress was incredible, she was warm, friendly, informative, and made great suggestions. They did not have exactly what I wanted but Kari made it happen. The food was delicious and I plan to go back and I will look for Kari to be our waitress! A great experience.
Kitchen was super behind. The server was great and kept us up to date, but it took 40 minutes to get chips and salsa, then an additional 30 minutes to get our burgers. Food was only ok.
Chicken tenders looked and tasted like straight out of a bag of Sams frozen. Dry, thick, tasteless breading... left most on the plate. Good fries and ok street tacos.
It was after a big KU win so obviously it was busy. Seated quickly. Wait staff was very friendly, food served quickly and it was AWESOME!
