They stop sitting about 1-2 hours before they close due to the waiting list. eating is phenomenal and worth it! we have set our name on the list (1.5 hours waiting), then went down to the toy shop and shopping around. the cookies and gravy were the best I ever had from a restaurant. so good that I bought from extra order to go so that I would have it the next day. they are also dog friendly on the terrace and provided water and lend. I would make the hour drive from kc again. highly recommended!

The food was absolutely delicious! I got a their signature breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino. Delish!! My friend got a whiskey spiked coffee I tasted and that was strong but also good. I have it 4 stars because the staff was very kind, but never called/text us when or table was ready and they did not check in super often or offer our checks, we had to wave them down to ask. Not a big deal, but it did slow down our time there. I would definitely eat there again ??

I had a delightful Sunday brunch here with friends during my visit from out of town. The menu offered a variety of great options, and the food was delicious. We experienced about a 45-minute wait, which aligned perfectly with the time we were given. While the service at the beginning was quick, the wait for our food ended up being longer than we anticipated. Regardless, I would still highly recommend enjoying brunch here!
This is a fantastic breakfast spot with deliciously flavorful food. They offer a coffee bar where you can choose from regular coffee and customize its strength at a self-serve station. The restaurant is cozy, so be prepared for a potential wait to get in. They also serve cocktails during lunchtime. Just a heads-up: the place closes at 2 PM.
One of the best breakfast spots in an Lawrence, excellent food and service. Be prepared to have to wait for a table though as it's a popular restaurant and during their peak rush there's always people waiting to be seated. The coffee here is fantastic. Best French toast in Lawrence.
Stopped in for brunch on a Tuesday at 10am with a co worker. KU had just won a national basketball title the night before and this place was packed. There was a wait. But the food and experience was good. I would definitely eat here again, but hopefully when they aren't this busy...

the second time here. great breakfast. great waitress. kekse and engraving are good. tocuits a little thick, but gravy fantastic! brandy infused french toast very good. a new favorite for us.
For a larger town this place feels like a small town restaurant. This is a cozy restaurant with good grub. Comforting vibes.
