Bistro 221 was fantastic. Although they appeared a bit understaffed, which is common nowadays, our large group was still perfectly taken care of by just one server. All our drink and food orders were accurate, and the checks were correct. The burger was flavorful and well seasoned, and the pasta tasted homemade—none of us left a single bite. If we're ever in the area again, we’ll definitely return. A lovely bonus is the beautiful patio, where live music is featured on the last Saturday of every month, performed by The Live Wire Band. Overall, the entire experience was excellent.

I had an appointment in St. George and decided to stop by Bistro 221. The interior is incredibly modern, despite the historic nature of the building, giving it a vibe you'd expect to find in downtown Charleston. The food was fantastic—especially the fried chicken sandwich and okra. I had the chance to meet Corey, the owner, who recently took over and made some great updates. I highly recommend giving this place a try. If we lived nearby, it would definitely become our weekly date spot. I’ll be sure to visit every time I’m in the area.
Fantastic meals with a modest but focused menu featuring wonderfully fresh ingredients and skillfully prepared seafood. The atmosphere leans more towards a pub vibe than what the cuisine might imply. A suggestion: perhaps the other dining room could benefit from tablecloths and the absence of a TV? Just a thought. This place could be a hidden gem off the interstate, offering a reason to stop in town beyond just shopping at the charmingly quaint Weeks' clothing store. Food rating: 4.
We've visited Bistro 221 multiple times since it came under new management, and each experience has been fantastic. The chef and owner, Todd, has revamped the menu, and we've made it a point to try something different every time. We haven't been let down yet! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is the friendliest group you'll ever encounter. I highly recommend checking it out for yourself! Book a table now
What a delightful discovery in this small town! Just a short 2-mile drive from I-95, it's definitely worth the detour. I tried the quesadillas, which were excellent, and the salad dressing is homemade. Plus, they are dog-friendly! We enjoyed our meal on the spacious outdoor patio with our furry friend. The waitstaff were very welcoming, and the owner even came out to say hello. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
Wow! What a fabulous gem in St. George! Rachel was our server and we loved her and her knowledge of every dish we asked about. Great portion sizes! We will be back to taste the rest of the menu as we frequently travel taking hwy 78. Looked like they havean amazing alcohol selection as well, but we didn't try it.
The chicken salad sandwiches lacked both the cranberries and pecans mentioned in the description, altering the flavor profile I had anticipated. The service could have been more attentive. However, the atmosphere was really pleasant, and the family bathroom was spacious, equipped with a baby changing station.
The food was excellent with generous portions. My wife enjoyed the hamburger steak, while I had the chicken Alfredo. The service was outstanding, and the hostess was warm and inviting. The decor was beautiful, and I truly appreciated the architectural design of the building. Book a table now
First time checking out this place and it was amazing. The food, staff, and specialty holiday drinks were top notch. Jordanne served me and made all the specialty drinks. She was absolutely amazing! I'll definitely be back! Love this place and the vibe.
