We had booked a table through Open Table and received confirmation, so we all went to Bistro Meme for a family celebration, only to discover that the restaurant was closed for renovations. It was disappointing that we were not informed in advance. I would have preferred to give the restaurant zero stars. It's unclear whether the miscommunication was the fault of Bistro Meme or Open Table, but there was definitely a major error in communication.
We used to visit Bistro Meme all the time. In fact, it was one of our favourite restaurants.Not anymore.Something happened recently - either the original owners sold it OR management changed. Either way all the delightful old staff left.When we went the waiter didn't even know what the dishes were on the menu. He walked off to "ask someone" and never returned.Food has no flavour now and the ambience is gone.Such a pity.

Bistro Meme is an incredible restaurant with outstanding food and excellent service. I have only been in Australia for 7 months, but the food at this restaurant is the best I have tasted in the country so far.
