After a long day we called here for supper; asked if dogs were permitted and this very funny man says 'of course, how would you like them cooked'? We just had to go in. We had the special, it was pork in a lovely pepper sauce with fries and salad, we shared a bottle of bordeaux and thoroughly enjoyed watching the goings on with the regulars. I was having such a good time I had some scrummy chocolate mousse followed by coffee and cognac. Employe 06 was very attentive and cracking jokes all the time we were there. When we left we were tired, full and happy, a most delightful place to visit. Look out for the lavatory signs most amusing. Sorry I didn't get his name..
The boss is falsely polite (and spoke to the cook as well as to a good at nothing....).T doubtful about the place.Very basic.Risk price (all is not understood, well be made specify what is indicated on the map to avoid the bad surprises). There are probably other much more delightful addresses to St. Omer... damaging, we were passionate about it, it was late, it was hot.
Stopped off at St Omer for a quick visit before catching the ferry back from Calais with a group of friends. Chose this one as the owner was so friendly and funny and the chef turned out to be English too. The food was well cooked and tasty and puddings particularly lovely. Would definitely recommend this bistro.
welcome well, when it doesn't bother to hear the bartender and his big tongue. meals it could go, except that more floating island proposed to the map, so we have priced 2 cappucino, out of price when by chance I look at my ticket the afternoon, 5 euros room a little expensive I think, we won't return there.

We came here on our last night, and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend the pizzas - and good value also. The barman / owner spoke excellent English, so communication was a breeze. Would certainly look at returning.
Walked into St Omer and wanted simple good food after a day on the road. Found Bistro 28. Not a big menu but good value. Serbice wad friendly and they spoke very good english.
Simple, efficient, welcoming, sympathic...a discreet mention (chut) for the bartender. short a small restaurant bar very pleasant. we'll be back without hesitation
Delicious steak tartare and mussels. The owner made us special food before, unlike other restaurants that don't open till 7:00. cheap and definitely a rapist!
