This restaurant is a hidden gem. When I first moved to the area, I had heard about their wide selection of plant-based meat options. I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised! While it would be nice if more items were clearly marked as vegan, if you're looking for incredibly tasty Asian cuisine (from Chinese to Japanese to Thai and possibly even some Indian dishes), this is the place to go. I'm usually wary of restaurants that offer such a variety of options, but this place is exceptional and has something for everyone.
Feb 2021 We ordered the lunch special, and the portion sizes were pretty good for the price. The Pad Thai especially seemed to be the same size as the dinner price (and same size as Thai Kitchen). The food itself was decent, but there were a few negative things. First, all the lunch specials come with a choice of fried or steamed rice. I assume this includes the noodle dishes since there is no specific exclusion. And if you order online, you HAVE to choose steamed or fried
My experience at Bite of Asia was disappointing, with both the Peking duck and wonton soup being completely inedible. To make matters worse, our Vietnamese spring roll appeared to have been swapped with another diner’s fried sausage roll. The only highlight was the fried appetizer, which was enjoyable thanks to the accompanying sauce. Given the many superior Asian menu options available, I doubt I will order from Bite of Asia again. One bite was enough to make up my mind.
We have enjoyed numerous vegan-friendly dishes at Bite Of Asia, and every meal has been delicious. The prices are fair, and their delivery service is consistently on time, often arriving ahead of schedule. Recently, when the delivery area on qmenu changed, we placed an order for pickup. However, the restaurant promptly called to confirm, allowing us to switch back to delivery. Their customer service is outstanding, and we are extremely satisfied.

The menu is extensive sushi, Chinese, Thai and hard to imagine doing everything well. We only ordered Thai the soup had small frozen shrimp with chunks of pepper and onion, the drunken noodles had no flavor, yet the green curry was almost too spicy to eat. Not bad overall, but, sadly, it didn't make us want to return. Online it showed as 4.5 stars 3 is generous.
Prices are good for the quantity of food, but the quality is definitely lacking. The spicy crunchy salmon roll did not taste fresh at all, and the shrimp tempura had no flavor. You can get 3 rolls for $12 during lunch, but it?s definitely not worth it. The lo mein is average, nothing to write home about. I?d stay away from the sushi, though
Ordered 2 main dishes: spicy coconut soup with tofu (could choose between chicken, beef, or tofu) and fried peanut (sauce) chicken, and a coconut rice as a side dish? they?re just delicious! Plus, the main dishes come with rice, very filling!
Bite Of Asia is my favorite American Chinese takeout spot in the DMV area. Their menu offers a wide variety of vegetarian options, and I’ve sampled nearly every dish—each one has been consistently delicious.

I absolutely love this Asian restaurant in Bethesda. They have excellent vegetarian meat options and a wide selection on their menu. Whenever I want vegetarian takeout, this is my top choice.
