I visited Sweeney's for lunch today, our Friday outing, and requested to sit at the round table. The blonde waitress was quite rude and bluntly informed us that there was only space for six chairs, even though our party had seven. After taking a look at the table, I confidently suggested we could fit one more chair, but she stubbornly refused and claimed it was against the owner's policy. She even threatened to kick us out if we attempted to add the extra chair. So, we decided to leave and head to 'Me You Restaurant' instead, where we were greeted by a lovely, friendly server who treated us to a delicious meal. This review focuses solely on one menu item, not the restaurant as a whole... Please, I urge you, DO NOT order the meatloaf. It is hands down the most repulsive thing I have ever tasted. The texture was rubbery, the flavor was odd, and it seemed to contain at least eight tablespoons of thyme. It was an experience I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. MANAGEMENT: Please search for a simple meatloaf recipe online and try following one of the top results. It would be a significant improvement over the disgusting dish I was served tonight. Everything else was fine, though.
It's been years, and the friendly service remains consistent at this traditional Irish pub in the neighborhood. The menu offers fresh and affordable dishes that are definitely worth trying. Plus, there are TVs everywhere, so you can catch your favorite game while enjoying your meal!
I’ve hosted two events at this restaurant, and both experiences were fantastic! The staff was incredibly accommodating, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it!
