It took forever to be seated in the nearly empty bar area, where we got the put in a corner and barely attended to. Ordered the tomahawk steak, and chose medium-well since the pictures from their menu seemed like they lean on the raw side. This steak came out well done, not a single piece of meat had any pink left. So the replacement steak we ordered was medium. But honestly I don't think either of the meats were tomahawk cut. They present a broiled bone and cut meat and tell you it's tomahawk ribeye. Tasted like chuck shoulder. My husband said it's one of the worst meals he's paid for.
We were surprised to discover Black Angus was not a fine dining restaurant. The decor was a Stuart Anderson Cattle Company restaurant. The service was very friendly and efficient where everyone we came in contact with was amiable. Our waitress went out of her way to attend to our needs giving us a second helping of the warm and delicious bread and recommending a nice wine pairing. The prime rib was done perfectly and the seasoning and au jus were also perfect!! Delicious meal to celebrate a birthday! We'd definitely return but we won't dress up!
We had reservations for 4pm we were seated promptly. The hostess manager were speaking loudly about another party who obviously been waiting a long time. Made for an awkward situation. Besides the initial uneasiness, our dinner was enjoyable. Our server Breana was spot on. Being Fathers's Day, the restaurant was very busy. Breana was very attentive always made sure we had everything we needed.
Came in during the week it was not busy at all I had a party of 8 and 6 were available to seat but they wouldn’t seat us until everyone there. It was NOT busy the place was empty the accommodation could’ve been made. So instead of having good hospitality you all lost out of 200-300$ of potential business. You’re greeter didn’t even great us and your atmosphere is stale not welcoming!

Our “go to” place for good food, great service, with medium high prices, but just try to eat it all! Enjoy your food slowly savor it, yes it's typically that good) and stop when full. Most people will have more than enough to take home for a second meal a day or so later. Two meals for the price of one. More than worth the price.
Not a fan of occasions being celebrated at their restaurant and from the reviews I wasn’t wrong to go off. Uninviting which is why they were empty. Both greeter and server were not helpful or friendly and need to take a customer service etiquette course.BAR RESCUE needs to investigate this place. John Taffer get them ?
Black Angus was just as great as I remember. I made reservations through Open Table and was seated promptly, even with many people waiting. Our waiter was attentive and very helpful with our Groupon. I ordered the prime rib and a salmon dish, and both were excellent. We were in and out in about 45 minutes.
The service was terrible. Our salads arrived after the main courses, and one person's drink came only after the meal was finished. The server also forgot to place part of our order. Overall, it was a long and frustrating dining experience, and the restaurant wasn't even busy.

Food is not bad. Price is also not bad. I got it from Groupon. I got prime rib; portion was big consider the price. I have a better experience this time.
