Dining at the Black Bear Diner is always a delightful experience; the food tastes just as amazing as it looks, and it consistently looks appetizing. The Original Scrambowl is fantastic—I intended to take a photo, but it was so enticing that I forgot the moment it arrived. I've enjoyed several wonderful breakfasts there. However, when it came to their fish fry, I was disappointed that they substituted catfish for cod, claiming the latter as white fish. Additionally, my sweet tea was overly lemony, with at least two whole lemons in it. The batter on the catfish wasn’t fluffy as expected; instead, it was thin and firm, reminiscent of the cod. The food at Black Bear Dinner always tastes as good as it looks and it always looks good. The Original ScramBowl is great, I wanted to take a photo but forgot as soon as it arrived. I have had several great breakfasts at BB. However, when I went to theall you can eat fish fry, they change out the cod for catfish, they do list it as white fish not cod. The sweet tea had lemons? The dinner so far has over two whole lemons and the batter on the cod was not a fluffy batter it was thin and firm like the cod.the batter on the catfish was traditionally catfish hushpuppy batter. The beverages had different prices on the glossy menu atthe table than the paper menu they take away making overcharging ea...

During our recent visit on a Sunday around 4 PM, there were only a few other patrons when we arrived. We were greeted promptly and shown to a booth. Our server was friendly and welcoming, taking our order quickly. The food came out hot and fresh, and it was excellent, as always. For the most part, the restaurant and restrooms were clean, although the carpet could have used a quick sweep, likely due to the busy breakfast and brunch crowd. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I would definitely go back the next time we are in St. George. Highly recommended!

We stopped for breakfast on our way to Vail, CO. We’ve stopped here several times so we know it’s good. Friendly service, reasonable prices and good food. Breakfast orders were chorizo breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict and chicken fried steak and eggs. The only bummer part was the salsa. More like a can of tomatoes. I preferred the hot sauce they provided on the side. Book a table now

Wow! The food at this restaurant is amazing! You really get fantastic value for your money. I ordered the sweet potato fries as an appetizer, anticipating a small portion, but I was pleasantly surprised when they brought out a large plate! And that's not all—check out the photos to see for yourself!

Very good cheeseburger salad. Recommended if you fancy something a bit more healthy than usual. The bear claws seems to be the special dessert stuffed with almonds and it s very good.

The food was delicious and generously portioned. However, it was a bit heavy. Additionally, the lettuce on my hamburger was wet, resulting in a soggy sandwich. Book a table now
