Literally the worst meal I had in a long time. We stopped by mid-afternoon for a bite after going car shopping. The host/server was very pleasant and welcoming. We were seated and placed our order. 5 minutes later (no joke) our food was brought out. I wasshocked. Clearly this food was prepared long before and the quality showed. The eggs were extremely over cooked, rubbery andslightly burnt, the hash browns were dried out and tasted reheated. The worst of it all was the bowl if grits. The cookliterally took hot water and poured it over the grits. They weren't even cooked. We called a server over asked if it could becooked longer. 10 minutes later the same bowl of grits returned dried out and...

I visited on Sunday morning for breakfast and had an incredible experience thanks to Jennifer. She was the most unique and entertaining waitress I've ever encountered, and she really made me laugh. It was especially refreshing, considering the recent loss in my family that left me with little to smile about. The pancakes were absolutely delicious! And I must say, Jennifer was not only witty and fun but very beautiful as well. Keep up the great work, Black Bear Diner!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were quite generous! The chicken fried steak Benedict was phenomenal. The service was excellent as well; everyone I interacted with was smiling, friendly, and showed a genuine love for their work. I just wish I had discovered this diner earlier in my trip instead of on my last day!

I sat at the front counter, great service. Hash browns were a bit too crispy, but the rest of the food was on point: avocado toast and egg whites with a fruit bowl. Book a table now

I’m obsessed with their pancakes! I love how fluffy and cake-like they are. We visit this restaurant occasionally, and every time we go, we’re never disappointed.

I celebrated my birthday on November 27, and I enjoyed a delicious meal. The BLT was my favorite; the bread was perfectly crispy and so tasty. Wow!

The restaurant is filled with wooden black bear sculptures everywhere! It's really impressive! The atmosphere reminds me of a cozy cabin in Tahoe.

It was my first visit to a Black Bear Diner, and my first impression was that it resembled Denny's. Book a table now
