The outstanding wait staff is the only reason I did not give this restaurant a one or two. If I rated just the service, it would be 5. The food, especially for its cost, is well below average. I split the Diablo Shrimp dish with a friend and the shrimp were small, low quality tasteless pieces slapped in a corkscrew pasta with too much and too bland of a sauce. The two of us did not finish it because it was so bad. My friends ordered the Poutine to split and found it horrible (also be aware Cincinnati has its own version of Poutine and it is not French). They left over 3/4 of it uneaten and the waitress did not mention it. The salads were the best thing, and the home-made dressing was excelle...

My wife and I had lunch here to try someplace different. It was great . We weren’t real hungry so we decided to split some things in order to try more courses. We started with the grilled peach and goat cheese salad after getting approval from Ambar our server. She was super and knew her menu front to back. . The salad was perfect. Cold and crunchy with warm goat cheese balls. We followed it with cod fish and chips. The cod was lightly battered and the chips were amazing. We finished with the bread pudding of the day “peaches and cream”
Tonight my husband and I celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary. We were just traveling thru the city for one night and wanted a good steak. The whole meal was wonderful. Our server was Julie and she was fabulous. We started off with crab cakes and calamari. Next was the soup and salad with amazing bread . The we both ordered filets my husband had the “Oscar” it was topped with lobster . They were absolutely delicious. So happy we chose this place !
Celebrating a birthday with six friends. The steak was thin and over cooked, three were sent back or not eaten. The only dish that was good of the six meals ordered were the pork chops. The waiter did not seem surprised or care really, about the issues. There were issues with the bar as well. Several drinks had to be sent back and remade or changed. I had been here for lunch previously and it was all right, but the dinner was subpar. Book a table now
Great area of town. Seated right away in Julie's section. She had great suggestions, was there at the right times and fun. Enjoyed nice wine by the glass selection, had nice French red blend. Bread and water right out. Had great crab cakes for appetizer, nice spring salad with homemade blu cheese dressing both very yummy. For main had the halibut, excellent sauce with capers.
We stopped by here to eat while staying nearby in Cincinnati. Bavarian pretzel, Asian miso glazed salmon, NY strip, and a chocolate lava cake. The pretzel was burnt on the bottom. The steak and salmon were cooked to perfection. Overall I would recommend this if you're looking for something different.
We got the open faced steak sandwich, Italian sub, soup and sandwich, and turkey avocado sandwich. Sandwiches were ok. All three sandwiches had a what appeared to be house made chips as a side. Everyone’s chips were stale. Yuck. Service was ok. Food was ok otherwise. **** Marys were good.
This afternoon, my girlfriend and I sat on the back patio and it was beautiful, intimate, and relaxing. We both got the bone-in ribeye and the food was amazing. Even the ceasar salad was good. Highly recommend! Book a table now
Wonderful Ingredients preparation and presentation absolutely delicious! Was not sure what to expect but so glad I stopped here on the way to the airport
