Buyer Beware! I ordered a dish from this restaurant via UberEats and specifically requested no broccoli. To my surprise, I was charged an extra fee for that request. When the meal arrived, half of it was still broccoli! Additionally, I was hit with a $6 service fee that was not mentioned before. Unfortunately, the dish lacked flavor, and I expected much better quality for the price I paid. It definitely wasn't worth it. This restaurant seems to take advantage of its customers. 10/10 I visited Blue Ginger for the second time today, and it was just as good, if not better, than my first experience. Within a minute of placing my order, our server brought out the hot and sour soup. This is the first restaurant where I've tried this soup, and it is incredible. The broth is richly flavorful, spicy, and has a silky thickness that clings to the spoon. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. I also ordered the black pepper calamari, which is deep-fried with onions, jalapeños, and carrots, seasoned with black pepper. I'll be thinking about how great the food was until my next visit!
While I would like to give this restaurant 4 stars I can't because while we were there this past weekend they allowed a family to come in with their dog at the table with them. It was disgusting to watch. A dog should NOT be at a restaurant especially a Hibachi style restaurant. Not only is it unsafe, it is unsanitary. I hope this is not something they do on the regular. I don't think I will return.
Saturday lunch time 1st time at this restaurant. Very pleasant dining experience. Server was polite and attentive. order was taken and delivery was quick appetizers and soups. Main entree followed . Food presentation was mouth watering. Habachi Chicken and Shrimp was amazingly delicious. I will definitely return to try other enticing menu options.
