What a delightful experience! When we first entered, it seemed like the restaurant was full, but little did I know they had a rear dining area. The outdoor dining area in the back is where you want to be - it's very romantic! They even had space heaters for the chilly San Francisco night, with a visible flame that added to the ambiance. Across the way, you could hear and see the trains passing by, blowing their horns. The atmosphere was incredibly intimate and romantic, making it a great spot for a date or a family dinner. And by the way, the pies were absolutely delicious!
This is our neighborhood pizza joint and they will absolutely accommodate a vegan diet! I get a vegan pizza with as many veggies as I want without cheese. Their sauce is great and I don't miss the cheese at all. I'm sure they have Daiya, too, if you just can't do without. Their deep dish pizza dough is not vegan however. They have lovely roasted shisito peppers (watch out for the hot ones! and salads, too. Fun outdoor seating, dog friendly and full bar, too!!!
Casual dining, good atmosphere with outdoor seating available. Thin and crispy base is suitable for vegans (deep pan is not). There were about 4 veggie pizza options on the menu which you could swap the regular cheese for vegan cheese. The base was really yummy and the sauce was amazing. The large pizza was advertised as for 4 people but I would say it’s for 2 people if your not having any starters. Suitable for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and decided to give it a try because of the spacious terrace at the back. We were impressed by the innovative use of a QR code for online ordering, something we had never experienced before. The pizza was absolutely delicious! We recommend getting the thin crust and skipping the parmesan sprinkle on the crust. The vegan cheese was so creamy and melted perfectly.

I appreciate that they offer vegan cheese and make it simple to customize dishes to be vegan, but I believe they could be more accommodating to vegans. I wish they had a vegan pizza option on the menu. I also prefer vegan pizzas that use local vegan cheese or no cheese at all, rather than just replacing it with Daiya (or whatever brand it was).
This was my first time trying deep dish pizza in the Bay Area, and it exceeded my expectations! I decided to dine here with a friend for a mid-afternoon meal, which we jokingly called "lunner," and it ended up being a great choice.
I didn't take a photo of the food, but the deep dish pizza was delicious as usual. I especially love the cornbread crust. The drinks were generously poured and the service was great.
We arrived at the restaurant for lunch at noon on Monday and found that it was empty. We decided to order a large deep dish pizza, with half BBQ Chicken and half Hot Honey, Sausage.

My partner and I ordered a vegan version of the Aphrodite dish. It was satisfying overall, but I didn't particularly enjoy the cheese. I felt like it lacked flavor for my taste.
I get her blue line veganized here and it costs less than the standard version because they subtract the cost for toppings like feta.
