Too noisy. The way server assisted me i can’t consider fine dining the place. The environment should be considered if not too noisy. But the service was poor. I ordered soup as appetizer and a main course. Main course came first than soup. I had to ask for holding the main course, loosing the freshness and quality of main course. The fillet to be cooked at table could be offered to add some side as it’s only the beef. Server was running too much, not giving proper attention to the service was offered. I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for quite some time, but I am extremely disappointed with the decline in food quality. Previously, I would have rated them 4.5 out of 5, with just a slight deduction for service. However, last night, we ordered six rolls, and four of them contained fish that appeared to be old. When we tasted them, they had a terrible flavor, and we had no choice but to throw them out—what a waste of $100! Unfortunately, it was also too late, as the few pieces we did consume made three out of four of us sick. We tried to call the restaurant to warn them, but no one answered the phone. We were loving this place, then tiny piece of C. Seabass for $14, cold fried rice on albacore sushi and Hotty Totty onions were cold! Server did or said nothing to correct! The worst thing was that it was super loud and hot inside... can't even talk to your wife.. Everyone is having to yell at other tables so they can be heard only contributing to more sound. Far from a relaxing enjoyable environment!!! Not worth going anymore.
Best vegetarian sushi that I've had in a long time. They have creative options and they're all unique to each other. The service was extreme quick and friendly even with our two young kids in tow. They also have their own parking lot (small) that's shared with nearby Harumama. Will be coming back here whenever we're in the Carlsbad area. Best sushi around. My personal favorites are Yellow Tail, Albacore, and Salmon Nigiri. All of them melt in your mouth and are very fresh. It's a bit pricy, but the saying is true, you get what you pay for, and it was worth it. Fully recommend it to sushi lovers.

The manager was very rude! Actually asked me to get up from my seat because a “regular” likes to sit at the bar. Food is good! Management and host staff is exceptionally rude

We really enjoy the happy hour and have a few items that we always order. Their nigiri plate during happy hour is definitely a favorite of ours!
