Every time I visit Owings Mills, I make it a point to stop by the Blue Point Crab House on Reisterstown Road. I always take home an amazing crab pretzel or two, along with some delicious stuffed shrimp. Since I live 75 miles away, I order my items to be packed cold for cooking at home. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that whenever I ask the staff for advice on the best cooking time and temperature, no one seems to know. I end up guesstimating, and they turn out pretty well, but it would be really helpful if the staff could offer cooking instructions upon request for customers preparing food at home.
This restaurant has completely won me over—I can’t imagine going anywhere else! I absolutely love coming here. If you’re as particular and discerning as I am, this is the perfect spot for you. I refuse to get my crabs from anywhere else. They are always hefty, well-seasoned, and served hot. I've never been disappointed. Even if I occasionally receive a crab that isn't as succulent as I'd like (because nothing is perfect), I just bring it back, and they gladly replace it.
I’ve been visiting this restaurant for a while now. The crabs are consistently well-seasoned, and the prices are reasonable, often with special deals available. Most of the staff I've met have been friendly and welcoming. I will definitely continue to return and recommend this place to others.

I ordered a half bushel of medium blue crabs for $150. As a Maryland native, I hadn’t had crabs in over a year since I live out of state now. They were fantastic—really good!
The quality of Blue Point is not what it used to be. When you pay over $100 for crabs, they should all be hefty. I found a new place that is fantastic, but...
First time here and I must say it was delicious. The staff was nice as well and they steamed and seasoned the crabs in no time lol. Will be back soon
