What a wonderful place to eat!First off, the owners there are so kind and amazing that it is hard to believe the business has been open for 3 years and still treat new customers with such kindness. What the store lacks in presentation it makes up for in quality of food.Best cuban sandwich I have had so far, if they made the pickles deli thin sliced, it would be the perfect cuban sandwich in all of NJ. Amazing amount of mustard, cheese and juicy pernil that honestly blew me away. The pollo gizado was so soft, juicy and flavorful, it complimented the soft black rice perfectly, along with the freshly cooked tostones that were crunchy yet soft enough to eat (perfect balance of textures). The tostones were over-fried and hard as rocks. The El Matador sandwich was a messy disappointment, served on the wrong bread—just a soft roll instead of traditional Cuban bread. I ordered a regular Coke and received a Diet Coke instead. If you ran out of regular soda, it would have been better not to send anything at all.
The chicken croquettes seemed like they came straight from a frozen Goya package. The ham and cheese sandwich was made with yellow American cheese instead of the expected Swiss, all on Cuban bread.
I ended up throwing most of the food away and only eating the toasty Cuban bread. Maybe it was just an off day, but as a non-regular customer, I can't recommend this place....
I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is fresh and gives you a comforting, homey feeling. I can't wait to explore more items on the menu. The Cuban sandwich is incredibly delicious and clearly made with great care. The spare ribs are simply mouthwatering. Everything was excellent!

Best local authentic Cuban food made fresh to order, hand-prepared with love by a darling husband and wife. Best sandwiches and they cater too! Right in our little neighborhood. We are so lucky to have them.
Cuban sandwiches are phenomenal and the empanadas well stuffed but were out of some family owned and runned ...very friendly.....small gem in the corner .....food was good very filling ....highly recommend
