They offer a variety of burritos and bowls, but if you’re vegan or vegetarian the best option is to build your own. Some of the vegan toppings include tofu, black beans, pinto beans, grilled broccoli, grilled mushrooms, brown rice, quinoa, fajita vegetables, guacamole, cooked beets, black bean hummus, etc. That is, there is a very large variety to choose from to make your burrito according to your taste. During our visit to Hanover, we decided to stop at Boloco for some quick and healthy food options. The ordering process was fast and we were impressed by the variety of healthy choices available, such as wheat wraps, brown rice, and tofu. It was easy to specify our vegan preferences. Despite the menu being somewhat limited, it made it easier to make a decision quickly. We ended up ordering the Teriyaki Burrito with Tofu and the Thai Burrito with Tofu, both of which were delicious, satisfying, and easy to eat on the go.

Pros- both tofu and impossible burger bits for protein options; more Veggie selections than the typical Fajita vanillas, i.e. roasted broccoli and roasted carrots as well; Filling portion; delicious. Cons- needed more salsa and sauce, was a bit dry; some of the burger bits were carburized excessively; the picked onions were too thick and not marinated long enough to take the plastered taste. To summarize, good food and choices, but do not expect it to blow your mind.
Passing through Hanover, we chose Boloco for what looked like good quality, healthy food we could take on the go. I am very particular about tortillas, but I was impressed by the ones I tried at Boloco. They were incredibly soft and delicious, unlike those at Chipotle, which are often stale and dry. There were so many options for building my burrito, including baked tofu, beans, and an assortment of vegetables.
Front door did not close leaving the whole place chilly. On the other hand the food was delicious and unique. You get to basically tell them what to put in your burritos. The staff was truly super helpful and friendly. Great place for a quick lunch.
I love this restaurant chain! The food is delicious, bursting with flavor, and the portions are generous. The prices are very reasonable. My favorite dish is the Thai slaw bowl, but honestly, everything on the menu is fantastic.
