This was a horrific experience. We went on mother 's Day and to our ultimate demise they were only staffed by one person who spoke no English. We were not able to be seated in the empty restaurant due to it being a holiday/ and or a Sunday all of which is not posted to their website. Then it took almost 30 mins to receive our take out order. We seated ourselves at the outside tables of a neighboring bldg. And the food was awful ?? it was definitely microwaved! The nan was rubber, luke warm bland food. In microwave containers. We didn 't smell food while inside and we know why....we got leftovers ?? I could not ingest the nasty food and those who did paid dearly and fell I 'll. This ruined ou...

Decided to try this out since we were in the area. The ambiance and cleanliness is the best thing about this place. The lamb kabob was tough and dry to the point I needed to wash it down every bite. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the butter chicken had good flavor. However, it was like the rest of the meals extremely dry. My daughter said the tikka masala was flavorless and extremely dry. She almost got a straw to suck up the sauce to add moisture to the chicken. The service was minimal. I understand that he was or the only one who was working and we could only order takeout so nothing bad to say about his service. Overall, I'll continue to go to Red Fort since I have never...

Let me preface this review. I LOVE Indian food. I could eat it everyday. DO NOT EAT HERE We were visiting St. George and looking for a place to go to for dinner. I was excited to find this. However, that excitement soon turned to regret. The service was quite poor, and the food bland. Nothing tasted good, and each dish was a deeper disappointment. There were no spices in the food. Not hot spicy, but the food had no depth of flavor that is consistent with Indian food (we couldn't even taste the curry), and the garlic naan was terrible!!! On top of that, when I looked at the receipt he overcharged us. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don't go here, save your money and time and go so...

I ordered a family-sized portion of curry from Bombay Cafe and it only comes with a single serving of rice. Which is pretty crazy considering the meal cost $50. When I spoke to the restaurant manager and mentioned that a family sized portion should have more than 1 scoop of rice, he told me I did not know how to read the menu and that I had just misunderstood. I told him I understand that you don 't do it that way, but I 'm trying to tell you that when someone orders a family sized portion they expect to get more than one serving of rice. He then laughed and said now I know for next time. The food was okay but I was pretty disappointed in how poorly they received feedback. Book a table now

We walked in and nobody was in here. I was a bit concerned about our choice of restaurant… until the food came out. It was so DELICIOUS!! The chicken was super tender and flavorful! We need to support this cafe as a community. I’d hate to see it go. So glad my husband and I stumbled onto it today!! I will definitely be back, with family and friends! Yummy! You don’t want to miss this little gem.

Our food was HORRIBLE!! The beef kabobs were cremated. So overcooked and dries out they were not edible. The two orders of garlic Naan bread were completely dried out and so hard that they were not edible either I emailed Bombay Cafe and let them know and asked For a partial refund. Crickets. This was over $50 in food we couldn't eat.

They served pita bread instead of real naan! I can only imagine what they use for toilet paper—naan bread?
