This place has been a treasure for decades! My family has gone here over the years and it has always been outstanding. On my most recent visit I got the oyster appetizer, think of escargot with garlic and butter, only with oysters fantastic! Oysters were cooked perfect and the butter sauce was just right, not too much garlic and great seasonings. I got the special which was rockfish topped with crabmeat. The rockfish and cooked just right, tender and not overpowered with seasoning but with a light butter sauce that made the dish bring out the flavor of the fish. We discovered this gem while traveling back home. This restaurant is truly a five-star dining experience! The menu features unique and spectacular dishes that cater to food enthusiasts like us. The service is top-notch and you never feel rushed. The cocktails are also fantastic. We have decided to make this restaurant a yearly stop on our travels from New Jersey down south. It's always a pleasure dining at Bon Appétit. My wife and I have been coming here for both special occasions and regular dinners for many years. Never had a bad meal or service.
