UNBELIEVABLE. I get Thai food whenever I get the chance, all over the world from NJ to Hong Kong, but Bon Palay is hands down the best I have ever had. The non-descript location on South Main Street has a homey, comfortable and casual feel. The chef has a passion and craft for Thai cuisine, explaining how he stays true to the traditions of authentic Thai cooking methods. The flavor profile of my dish (Gaeng Masaman) was perfection. I discovered this hidden gem thanks to a co-worker's recommendation, and the food was incredible! My friend and I kicked off our meal with the sticky spare ribs appetizer. The owner encouraged us to ask for more cucumbers since we shouldn’t waste any of the delicious sauce, and he was absolutely right—everything was so tasty that we left no drop behind. The knödel were fantastic and made to order. We also tried the Pad Lake Ew and Pad Mee Korat, their twist on Pad Thai, and both dishes were excellent. There was a generous amount of food for a great price. I also loved the inviting, local atmosphere of the restaurant.
Today was my first visit to Bon Palay, but certainly not my last. Every dish I tried was outstanding, and you can truly appreciate the love and effort that goes into each meal. The owners are incredibly passionate about their craft, and that passion shines through in their food. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted, and the attention to detail is remarkable. If you're in search of authentic Thai cuisine that captures the essence of the culture, this is the place to be!

Absolutely an experience! Fantastic service and amazing hospitality from the owner. The noodles are mouthwater, decadent and makes you want to eat and eat. They make everything homemade and even grow their own vegetables and paprika. Waiting is about an hour after your order, but take a beer and step back with your friends. Waiting is absolutely worth it. Promise.
Bon Palay was an outstanding experience! It’s a quaint hidden gem that serves incredible authentic Thai cuisine, all made fresh on-site. The flavors are amazing, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. If you're in the area or just passing through, you definitely need to check this place out!
Manville 's hidden gem. WOW!!This is now my go to Thai restaurant. Take note. Freshly made food like this takes time so plan accordingly. My wife and shared Pad Mee Korat with shrimp and a yellow curry called Gaeng Karee with pork. Definitely will be back soon.
Small mom pop restaurant. Food is freshly prepared. Trade-off is that service is slower that the typical Thai restaurant. Very friendly owners. Will return.
