We visited this restaurant for coffee and cake. The cake was tasty the coffee was absolutely awful. I have never tasted anything as bad in my life. When we were sitting eating our cake we were constantly surrounded by flies. We finished up but before...leaving we decided to use the toilets. There was no water available to wash our hands from the sink. When we mentioned this to the lady who served us she just apologised. How can a restaurant not have water available to customers to wash their hands after using their toilet. Where do the staff wash their hands. This restaurant is selling cakes and food it should have a fly zapper to catch flying insects. Absolutely awful in the beautiful town...

We have visited this patisserie several times over many years, I have also reviewed it before but I think it is worth updating my review. Not that my opinion has changed but to make it clear that their high standards have been maintained over a number of years. The choice of cakes ans tarts is a difficult one to make, they are all so beautifuly presented. There are other places to buy cakes in town but if there is a better one I have yet to find it. The tea and coffee is also good. Most of the staff understand enough English should you need help. A visit to Ribeauville is incomplete without "foret noire" and tea or coffee.

We are a French family visiting Riquewihr. This establishment was nearby our hotel. The first morning we stopped to have breakfast but pastries were sold out so we only had coffee. We observed the way this person spoke to customers (Of all nationalities) coming in was rude with a terse tone. The next morning we wanted to try a different place but it was closed. We went back to Vilmain to see if they had pastries this time, which they did. We walked in, said bonjour and straightaway she said salon de the is closed! She should change the sign in front of the store that says Non stop service to No service!

A short first, only and last one: our visit on this freezing January Sunday morning to this Salon de Thé without functioning heating, borderline-friendly service and a Coke served in a not overly clean 2-dl-glass, which was factured for 3 dl... Book a table now

Went there for breakfast several times as cheaper than hotel. Also makes fresh sandwiches to go. Can't even tell you how many and great pastries and chocolates made that day! This place has won many awards.

Came here for my boyfriend's birthday dinner earlier this year, and I've been wanting to come back ever since! Just the other day, I found an excuse to pop

This was our favorite bakery from our three-week trip to Europe. We absolutely loved the pain au chocolat, the croissants, the eclairs, everything! Book a table now
