We stopped here on a whim, on a Thursday night, based solely on star rating and photos. It was totally empty when we arrived. I was pretty shocked to see that the food options were very limited to mostly appetizers. Maybe we showed up on a night where the full menu was not offered? It was strange. We ordered a burger that showed up so overcooked that a hockey puck would have been more pleasant to eat. It was also so over seasoned that we almost didn?t bother, but we were super hungry and so where our kids. We also ordered a pretzel and shrimp elottes. Those weren?t awful but they certainly weren?t anything to write home about. Overall, the vibe was strange and the food was pretty disappointi...

I visited this restaurant while staying at Hampton Inn, and I must say the ambiance was lovely. Our bartender and server, Wesley, was incredibly knowledgeable about their whiskies and cocktails. I thoroughly enjoyed the garlic cheese curds, but the gumbo had a taste that suggested it may have been reheated multiple times. My colleague ordered the Jambalaya, and he found it to be just average as well. I noticed that previous reviews featured photos and a menu with steaks that aren't listed on the current menu. I'd be willing to return if I'm staying in the area again, as it might not have been their best offering.
I paid the full price for a hamburger I never ate, and I went to a grocery store and instead made a deli sandwich. Monday evening dinner, they were lightly occupied, so I was ready to be patient. I ordered a Hamburg cooked medium, thought it would help them (easy order). One hour later it came on the outside black, red on the inside. I asked them to get it back, and I waited 30 minutes, had to take it to go. It was still burned on the outside, cooked better on the inside, but overall tasted quite terrible. The waiter was nice and I felt bad for him, but I'm not coming back.
My boyfriend and I came in for dinner and really enjoyed it. The honey sriracha sauce for the wings had great depth of flavor and the garlic cheese curds were on point. Our main courses (chicken sandwich and jambalaya) were yummy, and I thought the dirty rice was the best of all! The menu was reasonably priced and the bar looked inviting as well. We especially enjoyed the way the Creole dishes were prepared and are only disappointed that we had time to eat there only once while we were in Freeport. Book a table now
The restaurant features a spacious and clean dining area with a pleasant aroma. However, the hallway has a musty odor due to a pipe break in the basement, though they are working on improving it. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks, both large and delicate, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet expectations.
Amazing drinks and boneless wings... But entree was dried out and tasted off and couldn't eat it, wouldn't recommend anything other than drinks and appetizers. So close to being a good place to have dinner, maybe get a waiter/busboy
If you're not a fan of spices, this restaurant may not be for you! All the meat dishes are generously seasoned, and the side dishes are just as flavorful. The house salad with Ranch dressing was delightful.
Great clean good smelling room, hallway is musty from the pipe breaking in basement but they are working on making it better.Restaurant great drinks and bar tender, food was sub par ? Book a table now
If you don’t like spice this is not your place! All meat comes heartily seasoned and the sides aren't far behind. The house salad with ranch, however, was wonderful.
Fried okra with beer cheese was the bomb! Pretzel amber beer was tasty. Friendly bar staff made a very good old Fashioned.
