It's one of Tignes' most friendly bars. The evenings range from unleashed evenings that involve the whole complex to more casual evenings where food becomes the center of all attentions. You will not get a better homemade burger in town, with generous portions of delicious crispy fries with a wide variety of hamburgers styles among which to choose I always had trouble finishing my meal, my plate was so full. Fair and cheap food served by entertaining staff full of training; I recommend integrating TC's bar with your experience in Tignes. Everything is extremely affordable, except for onion washers, which I never understood why their price was so high for the size of the given portion ... Pro...
If you're in Tignes or Val D'Isere for a week's skiing and not visiting Box Bar at least twice, then you're doing it all wrong... The place is run by 2 first rate lads who've built a cosy cafe/bar/restaurant with a sensational menu (brunch, lunch and dinner! and good selection of beers. If you time it right, you might even catch a spot of Premier League footy. If you head over in the evening (dinner menu starting from 4pm be sure to try the fried chicken and chips, easily meal of the trip for our group of 7 hungry skiers!

Been in here a few times over my past few visits to tignes. Small place. Very friendly vibe by the owners and the regulars. Beer is good, with local French/uk ale offerings not found elsewhere. Food is fantastic, basic bar food, done very very well. Ventured in on an event night unexpectedly and stb did this place rock late night!!! Never would have thought it given the normally relaxed social vibe... these guys know how to put on a party too!! Can’t wait for my next visit!
