In time of covid, do not put the mask and do not ask that the sanitary pass sheets be desired... Great choice of dishes on the map, however the management of stocks seem to have some shortcomings, because they only have half of the dishes offered on the map: no salmon, no meurette eggs, no burgundy beef, no velours of vegetables.... He's always amazing for a rather quiet Sunday. We're still waiting for our two red glasses... While it was one of the only open restaurants, otherwise we would have traced our way. Positive? The service was fast, God be praised, we were only two in the room:
This cozy brasserie on Autun's main plaza offers delicious Burgundy classics at terrific prices. Try the marvelous escargots served in a small pot with a garlic cream sauce. The steak tartare come with all the fixins' including capers, raw egg and Worcestershire sauce. The clientele is a mix of families and couples. Seemed like mainly locals all speaking French, but then we visited on a weekday afternoon in early May. Regional wines served in Pichet. Very competent, affable, but not overbearing waiter. Great bread!
located on the main square of Autun, the brewery is of the rather classic type. the menus offered are satisfactory in quantity, variety and prices. the meat and cheese plate was correct, but presented without butter. the cheeses that would have been wanted local were not (so the piece of munster presented would have had more its place in a brewery of strasbourg!). I was also brought to point out that mustard in the display on the table was outdated and had its appearance and taste...

Deplorable hygiene and health measures! Do not wear a mask during cooking or when serving dishes to customers is unacceptable in bright times!!!! I don't want to catch your bad waitress' microbes! The cook left in a scooter before ordering our desserts, how were we done? frozen dishes????????? However the service was fast enough, and the frozen meal was quite correct. Instead, go to the schedule, it’s a safe value!
Typically French brasserie, on a corner of Place Champ de Mars. Arrived in town early with not much going on so took the opportunity for coffee and croissants. The coffee was good - strong but not bitter and the croissant was melt in the mouth fresh and delicious. Service was excellent, with a smile . Always a good sign, there were several locals enjoying their morning conversations and breakfasts.
Brewery without pretention. The dishes are well served and good. the reception is cordial and friendly. the terrace in the evenings of beautiful weather is pleasant although being at a crossroads. Good brewery open on Sunday night.
I can't give an opinion on the kitchen because we were forgotten (19 people) despite confirmation 8 days before .en rade à autun .pas très professionnel.
